Story of Makoto and Dratini
When Makoto was young, Dratini saved him from drowning. Makoto smiled and said thank you to him; Dratini fell in love(?) with him and started to follow him. (It’s more like imprinting)

Story of Haruka and Feebas
Haruka met Feebas when he was young. He finally evolved when Haru is Grade 12, but he was too big to stay at home. In the end, Haru decided to let him live in the sea. Milotic was very sad that he can’t stay with Haru and take a bath with him life before. So Haru stopped by sea everyday to see him.

what was sousuke doing just standing there flexing in the first place
The pain that Sousuke went through seems to be regarded as just physical when compared to the emotional state of mentality Haruka has shown in recent episodes.
Imagine how devastated he would have felt when he first realised he would have to give up his dream, he doesn’t even have a choice in the matter.
Sousuke lost all hope of ever attaining his original dream, he then struggled to achieve his new one of swimming with Rin once more. Rin couldn’t comprehend why Sousuke would want to swim in a relay because of their past. He was desperate enough to even use their promise just for this opportunity and in the end had to win their race for the chance.
This big secret about his injury that he kept from Rin led to him being misunderstood by someone so close to him. Sousuke was even accused of not taking the relay seriously because he couldn’t understand why they were so important to Rin at that time. He wanted to experience with Rin what gave his best friend so much happiness, yet he failed and his time was limited due to his shoulder. He would have felt just as alone or misunderstood in this situation as Haruka ever did.
The physical pain Sousuke has endured must have been excruciating, he’s suffered for so long in silence and completely alone. His determination and hard work weren’t enough to secure his dreams and any chances he had of regaining them were destroyed because he couldn’t recover.
Throughout it all Sousuke still showed how deeply he cares for Rin, he looks out for Rin’s future even though he won’t be able to stand beside him. His loyalty and devotion to Rin is admirable, he genuinely cares about his teammates even if he’s reluctant to get involved at first.
His desire to swim with Rin, the secrecy between them, and the pain it caused were selfish but his feelings of adoration and love towards Rin, his care for Rin’s success and wellbeing, show how selfless he is.
Even without comparing him to Haruka (which is pointless because the two are nothing alike in the first place) none of that would change what Sousuke has gone through and what an amazing person he has become.
PREACH. Every character in this series has their own battles to fight. I feel that Sousuke’s is particularly difficult because it’s not for lack of desire - he has all the desire IN THE WORLD to swim - it’s because of his physicality. And HE DID IT TO HIMSELF. Can you imagine his frustration? The disappointment and self-hatred he had to endure to finally get to where he is now? I had no idea how misunderstood his character is up until a little while ago, and it’s even more disappointing that much of it stems from his conflict with Haru. Yes, he gives Haru heat for his connection to Rin. But there’s something so obvious, that I feel has more bearing on their dynamic - and it’s that THEY HAVE THE EXACT OPPOSITE PROBLEM. Sousuke is limited by his physicality - his shoulder - but his drive is so incredibly strong. And Haru can access limitless potential but doesn’t have the direction to do so. How frustrating must that be for Sousuke to see? So he finally does something about it - which is to tell Haru to step forward. If you’ve noticed, Sousuke has helped to push so many people toward their dreams - Rin, Nitori, Haru - when he can’t realize his own. Despite his hardship, he doesn’t resent others for their dreams. If that’s not a great character in your book, I don’t know what is.

Why is it the more skin this boy covers the more I want him
NAGISA: Let’s say if each of us was a girl and we were to go out with someone in this group, who would you pick?
HARUKA: Why did the topic suddenly turn to that?
REI: I have absolutely no idea.
NAGISA: It’s a hypothetical question!
MAKOTO: Why did talking about lunches turn to talking about dating?
NAGISA: Because Rei-chan said [imitates REI] ‘A man who cooks is popular.’ So I was wondering, if we were girls, who would we pick?
REI: That wasn’t an imitation of me, was it?
NAGISA: I sounded just like you, didn’t I?
NAGISA: [imitates REI] No.
NAGISA: I would pick… hmm… I wonder… Not Rei-chan. You seem to get too hung up by details.
REI: What are you saying, Nagisa-kun? You’ll find no partner more perfect than I am.
NAGISA: Eh? Really? But Rei-chan, you’ll definitely be a huge nagger. Always telling me not to spill things or to tuck my shirt in, and stuff.
REI: Me, a nagger? Listen. I have confidence in my memory, so I would never forget special days like birthdays. I can cook, and manage my time so I would never be late for a date. I would research beforehand the places we’d go, and even research the best path to take to the restaurant where I’ve already put in a reservation, so I would be the perfect escort for my date from start to finish. I would make a date enjoyable, leaving nothing to be desired.
MAKOTO: H-Haru… did you just think that Rei sounded like an infomercial?
HARUKA: How could you tell?
MAKOTO: [laughs] Because I thought so too.
NAGISA: Then, Rei-chan, who would you want to go out with among the guys here?
REI: Myself, of course.
NAGISA: That’s… um… That’s very sad.
HARUKA: Really sad.
MAKOTO: Don’t say that. That’s who Rei is.
REI: Makoto-senpai… you’re not helping…
NAGISA: Then what about you, Mako-chan? Who would you go out with?
MAKOTO: Me? Well, let me see… hmm… I’ve been with Haru since we were kids, so I feel relaxed around him, and Nagisa is a cheerful person, so I have fun being around him, and Rei is upright, so I feel like I can expect him to take really good care of me… You all have your good points. Hmm… I can’t choose.
[All three sigh]
MAKOTO: Eh? Huh? What’s wrong, guys?
NAGISA: What do we call that kind of attitude again?
REI: Makoto-senpai… You’re going to be in trouble one day…
MAKOTO: Wha– why?!
HARUKA: Being too nice brings the worst results.
MAKOTO: Not you too, Haru!
NAGISA: Then what about you, Haru-chan? Who would you choose?
HARUKA: It just seems easiest.
REI: That’s your reason?
NAGISA: Ehh, you picked Mako-chan?
REI: Well, Makoto-senpai is kind and he seems likely to treat the person he dates with respect.
NAGISA: Hey, Haru-chan! If I was your boyfriend, I’ll cook mackerel for you for breakfast every morning!
HARUKA: I choose Nagisa.
REI: Haruka-senpai’s decisions all center around mackerel…
MAKOTO: I lost to mackerel…
I know your favorite songs and you tell me about your dreams. Think I know where you belong, think I know it’s with me.
The though of Korra and Tahno being douches to each other really amuses me for some reason.
I found these sketches when I was going through some really old files…. this is for you Korra followers…. prayer circle that Tahno shows up again…
Maybe… maybe in book 4…
Thank god nobody makes you do “what I did over summer vacation” essays in college, because then I’d have to explain to someone outside of the internet that I spent mine drawing minor characters from a saturday morning cartoon as a faux-kpop group. Of course, the Wolfbats are pretty much a boy band to begin with, so it’s not like this is much of a stretch :T
ANYWAY, YES, here you go: wolfbaT’s debut album. The idea and designs are from the lovely lemonorangelime, and thanks to everyone who contributed song name suggestions!
Korra is featured as a rapper on “Toe-to-Toe.” “Cinnamon Roll” is all about Shaozu’s delicious hairstyle. I couldn’t resist referencing “The Cave of Two Lovers” because that’s where literal wolf-bats are found in A:TLA. And, of course, Private Lessons actually exists, bless this fandom.
I spent… more time than necessary on this… @__@ /passes out
You know what the worst part about being born over a hundred years ago is: I miss all the friends I used to hang out with. Before the war started, I used to always visit my friend, Kuzon. The two of us, we’d get in and out of so much trouble together. He was one of the best friends I ever had. And he was from the Fire Nation, just like you. If we knew each other back then, do you think we could have been friends too?
